I signed up for a black-market time-travel tour as soon as I heard about them. (The first rule of Time Club etc.)
There’s an hour long pre-mission briefing on how you must be extremely careful in what you say or do as the smallest event could have future-changing consequences.
After that, they give you back your money, admit that there is no time machine, and tell you “now go and do the smallest thing you can to make the future better”.
I’m not even mad.

@SAFCOcast Excellent choice. I heartily endorse that sentiment! (Still have my original 1st Edition Black Box set I got right after GDW first put it on the market... had to mail order it because no game store had it locally)
@outofprintarchive Seeds found in Pharoah's tombs have sprouted after being buried for thousands of years. You'll never know if they'll sprout if you don't try. Edit: though, as mentioned, keeping it all intact as is has value as well :-)
Okay, how did I never hear about the writer line-up in the old Land of the Lost TV series?

@arfisk @nyrath I still have my original 2nd Edition copy, in pretty good shape up on my game shelf. Played it so much I did have to reinforce the folds of the map with cellophane tape. Have a large collection of Metagmes, and picked up a few reprints that I didn't have in a crowd funded run by Steve Jackson a few years back.

"Every city in the Midwest has a half-finished canal in it."
I love canals, so this makes me want to do a tour of the midwest US and its half-finished canals - and a boat tour of the *finished* canals. But I'm in Scotland so... let me do it online.
First up: Indianapolis!

@MythicalMothman I've seen them twice. Once in the 80's at a concert in Seattle in high school, and during their last tour for their last album in Seattle again. They were great on stage. And they weren't above making mistakes on stage and owning it :-)
@MythicalMothman I wish I could remember all of the bands I've seen live. In high school we had a live band perform for after school dances at least twice a month. And all the bands I've seen live at pubs, fairs, concert halls and arenas, etc. ..., but here's a highlight of 12 I know for sure:
Echo & the Bunnymen
Mondo Vita
Fixx
Moody Blues
Boss Martians
Hoe and the Harrow
Oingo Boingo
Paul Revere and the Raiders
Duran Duran
Cars
Magical Streams
