since we're on the subject of Quake, they just released today another addon, downloadable through the ingame browser of the remasters, of a 5-map episode with a cool cyberpunk theme. It's related to the game Slave Zero X, and has custom weapons and enemies!

Took the kids to Melbourne Museum today to see 'Relics', a temporary exhibition depicting a post-apocalyptic world where LEGO minifigs have risen from the debris to craft new civilisations in discarded human artefacts.

I have to say that this repurposed old Space Invaders cab certainly caught my eye.

I'm finally ready to unveil my new weird software project that I've been working on: #Cosmarmot, a #Gopher to #Gemini gateway. I've got a public instance running at gopher://cosmarmot.space. Screenshots below in TurboGopher on #MacOS System 7.5, and in #Bombadillo in #CoolRetroTerm (since I can't take a real screenshot on my VT420).

Useful (?) for #Retrocomputing: if your old computer will run a Gopher client, but doesn't have the oomph to do the TLS a Gemini client needs, point it at Cosmarmot and explore Geminispace.
