What was your first online PvP experience, GamingThreads? For me, it was C&C Tiberian Sun, on a 56k modem some time in 1999. After that I had a long gap until Splinter Cell double Agent in 2006!

@PixelBandits Depends on your definition of "online". The place I was working at had an IT guy who setup a bunch of the cubicle PC's with DooM and we would stay after the overhead people had left for the day and do LAN parties. First online (over the Internet) would probably be back even further in the mid 80's - there were PvP MUDs back then, and being at college I had full access to the pre-web Internet over frame-relay circuits. Later (before the LAN parties) I would do PvP BBS games also.
